Where the F did the alarm functionality go?! That was the best part of this app. Also recently it’s said buses hadn’t come yet that had already left the stops. What’s going on?

Love the app, but Apple Watch support would be so helpful!

Used to be a good app. Relied on it multiple times a week, several times a day. After the recent update, the estimate times are COMPLETELY off. The app is pointless if the times are wrong and you’re 30 min early or 10 min late. It’s true for all stops in 2 different transit counties. I’m about to trash it if they can’t get the estimates back to even a little bit close.

I downloaded the app today, 12/24/24. I turned on location but no bus stops showed on the map. WiFi was on since I was at home. There is a bus stop 3 houses away from me. I typed in the route number and street intersection. No bus stops showed on map. Went to next bus stop to transfer. Checked app again. I’m literally standing next to bus stop. Still no bus stops show on map, even after typing in stop number. App was of no help while I was out and about. Looked at app again tonight while at home, the bus stops are showing now. If it doesn’t work the next time I need to use bus, I will be deleting app. I’ll use paper schedules, look online or call transit information. I gave the app a 1 since the bus stops finally appeared on map.

I downloaded it and followed instructions but the app shows no buses. It insists the route doesn’t have nearby stops — even when I’m on the bus for the route listed.

Why are they asking for a credit card, and it’s supposed to be free. And I can’t get the app .

The app isn’t working correctly could you please fix it. It keeps giving me an error message.

I have to manually refresh the app. It doesn’t automatically update the location of the bus.

Way too often the live info about arrivals and departure times quits working and you just get the static schedules Transit is a much much better app

The app is having trouble telling me when the bus is coming. The times are usually green but everything is white and it’s not very accurate. Is this a glitch or what?

I live in one the largest cities in my state and your app claimed we have no transit system. Laughably useless app.

I don’t understand why this app is never accurate. It always gives wrong bus arrival time. It is not like the information is not there because the other app, Transit, always provides very accurate bus arrival time. This could be a great app if the developer can integrate it with the available information.

Wouldn’t load the routes or stops near me.

I’m currently standing at a bus stop in Tampa Bay and this app isn’t showing it. Google maps says, but not this app this app is showing nothing.

Used to be an amazingly useful app. Not so any longer. Does not find bus stops or routes. Deleted.

As of today, data for Pugeot Sound area doesn’t seem to be working. Tried deleting and reinstalling app, and it states “data is missing.” Huge bummer, as I’ve used this app almost daily for at least the last 5 years.

I use this app daily and normally it works just fine however today there are a lot of errors to the point the app just wouldn’t load any data. I was attempting to reach out to the developers themselves seeing as I don’t know how to code or fix it myself since it’s an open source sort of thing except all their links are broken, lead you to social media profiles that haven’t been touched since 2015, no emails in the ‘contact us’ links. I’m using this review to hopefully let the developers know their app isn’t working and I took screenshots of the errors it was giving me if they want to give me an email address to send them to!

Interface is easily one of the worst out of all transit apps

i've never had any real serious issues with this app and have been using it since i was 16 taking the bus and trolley around SD, not sure about other locations that it covers but it's on point and a must use if your in this area, almost ten years since i have first download and used this application, definitely doesn't equate to all the bad reviews left from people, this app has saved me tons of time.

And they went with Apple Maps…

I’ve used this app on and off over the years it tends to be accurate enough in several cities I’ve lived in. Let’s be real: Even the official time estimates at the fancy bus stops are sometimes dead wrong. I just don’t want to wait 30 minutes for a bus to never show, so I can make good decisions about whether to wait or not. And that’s what this app does. It’s an alternative to Google that is accurate enough, and Google Maps has gone kind of downhill lately itself. One Bus Away even has an Apple Watch app!

Can’t connect to the internet after last update

Worst app for public transit. It doesn’t work sometimes whether you’re on WiFi or fully supported with your internet provider. The most annoying thing in Tampa is when you see the “scheduled/not real arrival.” HART needs to do better.

This used to be a good app. Now it’s a dumpster fire. I’m not sure what happened, but I will not be using this anymore.

for weeks and weeks now the app shows negative arrival times for my routes. like -736283836. i'm guessing this is because of reroutes. but, 1) please please work with the transit agencies to get meaningful route info even in the face of reroutes. i'm asking king county metro as well. 2) handle whatever data you're getting better than showing "-38373839".

The basic functions are well-conceived. However: Alerts are mostly useless. You open the information. And the first thing you get is a long string of alerts. You hit one of them, and there's likely nothing having anything to do with the bus you are waiting for. When you tap one of those, you end up with a long list of every route affected by anything. If it's a busy stop downtown, you might have to scroll through 30 or 40 of these just to get to your current bus statuses. Meanwhile, the current status may show that your bus is coming in real time. Then you look again, and are informed that it already left. Is it too much to ask that an alert affecting a particular line show up on the line in question? Sometimes you will get a "scheduled, not real time" status. Sometimes the bus comes, sometimes it doesn't. I just assumed that the bus isn't coming when I see it.

To this day I have yet to figure out how to find out the most important info I want to use this app for: when is the next bus on my route coming? I understand not every app will have stellar design, but when I can’t find the most critical info, I just am not going to continue trying to use it. :(

Useless app. Horrible user interface. Can’t find any route information.

Of all the bus apps. This has to be the worst one. Not only is it consistently incorrect but the user interface is absolutely outdated and not user friendly. I do not recommend.

I downloaded this app because it said it would tell me my next departure however when I downloaded it it asked for a bunch of my information then when I would type in the bus route or my next location nothing would happen. It would tell me that there were not departures near me but I was standing at my bus stop. The app is highly confusing I would not recommend. 👎👎

Can’t access any information outside of the location of stops which you need to know where they are within a small area for them to pop up. What is the point?

Times are always off I’ve waited over 15 minutes for a bus that was scheduled to arrive at a certain time and it happens all the time.

Got stranded missing the last bus because none of these MTS ppl communicate with each other and update what is or is not a bus stop. Literally stood by a makeshift sign that said my spot was a temp. bus stop (due to construction) and the driver, for whatever reason (keeping this review as civil as I can), just drove past. So signals were crossed somewhere and this app did nothing to help inform me.

After entering a number within the quick search, tapping on Route or vehicle will crash the app.

This app has saved me a number of times. Good to know when the bus is arriving. Unfortunately if there's a problem, don't count on the developers to actually answer your emails. So you'll just have to wait until any issues with the your line are fixed. Nonexistent customer support. Their email system basically directs you to your local transit office.

The app no longer gives usable information. waking around looking for an actual bus. Waiting at stops for thirty minutes when the app says the bus arrived and left, no bus. Zero stars.

This app used to be stable but now it crashes regularly during use.

I’ve had this app for years, I loved it. It’s simple with a clean design that doesn’t distract and the bookmarking option made finding my regular routes easy. I don’t have a car and it’s nice to have a rough guesstamate when my bus is coming or if it’s late/early via gps from the bus. Until last month when it stopped using gps in my city with no warning or notice from the developers. Not all cities, just mine. And the arrival/departure times are wrong now too. I’ve missed buses and had to wait in the cold. I got a different app, but I don’t like that one as much, and the developers somehow gamified it which I find distracting and annoying. I wish this app worked like it used to, but I can’t even report the problem because that feature is gone too.

The latest version crashes after opening on my iPhone 13 with iOS 16.2

When I download any application to get me from point A to point B I expect that I can search where I want to go and a route is built; preferably with all my various options. This app doesn’t seem do that. I search an address and it just tells me nearby bus stops from all directions. That isn’t useful information. I just want to know how best to get there from where I currently am.

The app kept spinning so I upgraded and now I regret it. This version doesn’t seem to let u set “reminders” for your upcoming bus on the bookmarks page even tho the app preview shows that as a feature. The bookmarks overall have a different format & it lacks the detail I had before. I haven’t yet checked how the map feature works, hopefully not much has changed.

Bus was scheduled for 2:38 i was at the bus stop by 2:30 When I checked where the bus was at because it was 2:39, it said “-1 min ago arrived on time” Obviously the bus hadn’t come and it showed up at 2:48 so this app is just phony.

New update force closes on my iphone 12 every time I try to type anything in (route, stop, etc)

The app does not display the correct routes and stops when transit lines are running snow routes. Instead, it continues falsely showing an approaching bus, then the bus magically disappears and reappears at a subsequent stop. Pretty poor.

It took me an hour extra to get home because the app didn’t tell me the buses were on snow routes. At least google maps says the buses are on detour when you look up arrival times. This app just says bus arrived, and there’s no bus to pick you up!! SHAME!!

In theory this app works well, however, since King County Metro is utterly unreliable, filthy, incompetent, and poorly run in every way, busses which supposedly have GPS regularly disappear into thin air rather than arriving when they are shown to be. Nothing is ever on time and you will end up standing at a bus stop dodging criminals and drug addicts while your bus is nowhere to be seen. Skip the app, skip Metro, and move to a decent state that isn’t a dumpster fire being run into the ground.
